Friendship Club (Over 50′s)

How did it all start?
The Friendship club was started by a group of volunteers who approached Old Oak Housing with an idea to set up a weekly club for those over 50 who may be on their own or would like to socialise more locally.

What happens in the club?
The club offers a lunch and refreshments and various activities such as trips out, information on local services and indoor activities.

Since February 2010 the club has been to Bognor, Osterley Park, Southend, London sight-seeing tour and a trip to the Theatre Royal to see Panto.

Who can come?
Anyone who lives on Old Oak estate is welcome to attend and join as a member to receive all the benefits.

When is the Friendship club on?
The Friendship club runs every Monday afternoon from 1.00 – 4.00 pm at Old Oak Community Centre.
